Hi. I had the same problem when trying to use the "c++" side of gcc. The problem was with "gnat", which created some links that caused gcc to be unable to find particular executables. You can fix this by de-installing "gnat" (NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH "gnats", WHICH IS A TOTALLY DIFFERENT PACKAGE). Let be know how things turn out.
