I experienced serious bug. (not bug?)
When 'PAGER=zless', system will not work properly, which seems to be
a bug of 'zless'.
'root' can access any task, but ordinary users can't access files
related to 'zless' such *.gz etc. When they is apt to access them,
CPU load is more and more higher, finally CPU load percents is 100%.
Because of hard disk access, entire system performance is lower.
Notice! System administrator, root (you?) must prevent ordinary
users from modifying 'PAGER=zless' in their profile, .chsrc, etc.
