I bought InfoMagic Linux Developper's Ressource 6 CD set od december 1996. I've
decided to install Debian from it but a bunch of packages can't configure after
installation in particular LaTeX (and BTW lot of related packages too...) an
Pari which were of particular interest to me.

After reading carefully the doc I made an other attemp with similar results.

So I reformatted my disk an reinstalled Debian with just the default
preselected and mc with libgpm.
(I had to do mknod in /dev to add support to my Mitsumi FX001D CD ROM but it
wasn't a problem). However there's still 3 unconfigured packages... (texbin,
psfnss and an other I've forgotten)

I added modules vfat, ppp, lp, serial lines.
I can access Internet from Win95 (for the moment I still don't have configure
linux to access my ISP)
I can only have access to a 100MB partition readable both by debian an Win95
(as I didn't want to give much disk space to win95 I used drivespace on it so
now it' not readable from linux... but on the other hand it occupies only 350MB
out of 1993)
I've copied the binaries from the CD to an ext2fs 450MB partition

I would like to install a working debian with no unconfigurable packages but I
DO NOT wish to download the whole debian because under Win95 it takes me about
an hour to download 10MB via RTC...

So what should I download to fix this apparently bad organised CD.
If it can help, I have OS2 warp 3 installed on this machine and I can install
either Slackware or RedHat coming from the same 6 CD set in a separate
partition.

I hope I've included enough details to get some help, but if you're missing
some informations, I can answer many questions.
