Uhm, If you do not HAVE to physicly have the chat server on your machine, I know a company that will provide private web-based web chat for your application (help desk, whatever) and the user client program (it is a java applet that downloads the first time you use the chat) for web browsers.
They charge a fee, you are welcome to add a profit. They would bill you, you bill the end user. THey will also train folks and staff them to handle questions, etc, if you are using it as a help desk type of operation or the company could use their own staff.'
