My printer prints all formats!!!! (ok, a printer is supposed to print ;) Thanx to all who replied. Especially Pat, Will and Lawrence.
If others have the same problem: read the howto in /usr/doc/ (Printer-HOWTO), install magicfilter and run magicfilterconfig as root (delete /etc/printcap if you already got one that the config works).
