Hi, It appears that in the default keyboard mapping for xfree86 (xkb disabled), both the backspace key *and* the delete key are mapped to the KeySym 'Delete'. Can someone tell me where this is being done? I don't want these keys mapped.
In other words, I'd like the delete key = keysym Delete backspace key = keysym BackSpace the way it should be. I know I could use xmodmap to remap the keys back to the original ways, but I'd rather find the source of the problem and remove the mapping that is currently being done in the first place.
