Dear fellow Debian/Linux user, wu-ftpd seems to be trying always to resolve into names the addresses connecting to it. this is very useful for logging purposes. Unfortunately though I use my Thinkpad Debian box in many different locations and often there is no local DNS or proper entries in my /etc/hosts .... in this case wu-ftpd waits until the resolv times-out (several seconds) before proceeding. Can this behaviour be modified ???
