Hi, I have a general question about linux and a debian specific one ... I grabed sane-0.66 and tried to compile xscanimage... it didn't work ... so I was wondering if there was a binary debian package of sane ...? where would I get it ... (I didn't see it on ftp.debian.org or ftp.wgs.com)
my general question is about my failed compile ... does anyone know what the following message means and how do I fix it? #/usr/src/sane-0.66/frontend: make xscanimage gcc -c -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I../include -I../include -I/usr/local/include -D_GNU_SOURCE -DPATH_SANE_CONFIG_DIR=/usr/local/etc/sane.d -DPATH_SANE_DATA_DIR=/usr/local/share -DV_MAJOR=0 -DV_MINOR=66 -I/usr/X11R6/include -g -O2 -Wall gtkglue.c gtkglue.c: In function `curve_new': gtkglue.c:701: warning: implicit declaration of function `gtk_gamma_curve_new' gtkglue.c:701: warning: assignment makes pointer from integer without a cast gtkglue.c:702: warning: implicit declaration of function `GTK_GAMMA_CURVE' gtkglue.c:702: invalid type argument of `->' gtkglue.c:696: warning: `curve' might be used uninitialized in this function gtkglue.c: In function `gsg_sync': gtkglue.c:1301: invalid type argument of `->' gtkglue.c:1280: warning: `curve' might be used uninitialized in this function make: *** [gtkglue.o] Error 1 Kevin Poorman [EMAIL PROTECTED] One Tequila Two Tequila Three Tequila Floor. -- TO UNSUBSCRIBE FROM THIS MAILING LIST: e-mail the word "unsubscribe" to [EMAIL PROTECTED] .
