If you know that the SVGA server was installed ok and the XFree86 configuration file is ok, see /etc/X11/Xserver file.
The first line of the file tells which X server to run. For example my /etc/X11/Xserver starts with: /usr/X11R6/bin/XF86_SVGA If the XFree86 config file is not ok, try running /usr/sbin/xbase-configure as root to re-create the file. // Heikki -- Heikki Vatiainen * [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tampere University of Technology * Tampere, Finland -- TO UNSUBSCRIBE FROM THIS MAILING LIST: e-mail the word "unsubscribe" to [EMAIL PROTECTED] .
