Hi, Is this a Windows95 FEATURE ;-)
When running Linux(Bo) an a machine with Windows95b(Fat32) the next time I run Windows it complains that the filesystem is in 'MSDOS compatability mode' and will not load any virtual disk drivers (including my CD!). The only way I know to get Windows to use the 32bit FAT again is to re-build the filesystem and re-install!. The Win95 and the Linux root/swap partitions are on separate drives. I am not mounting the Window partition from linux. I boot using a DOS floppy with LOADLIN and the installation kernel(2.0.29?) on it. HELP! Cheers, Ben.
