I've just upgraded my home system to the latest KDE available in hamm. Most of it seems fine, except that certain elements no longer respond to mouse clicks, or do not respond initially and can be 'coaxed' by lots of clicking. Unfortunately, ony of the elements which doesn't respond is the task bar :( (luckily alt-f1 goes some of the way). I'm mystified. Further detail is available, if anyone is willing to lend a hand...
