My /etc/init.d/network file contains: #! /bin/sh ifconfig lo 127.0.0.1 route add -net 127.0.0.0 ifconfig eth0 192.168.1.1 netmask 255.255.255.0 broadcast 192.168.1.255 route add -net 192.168.1.0 Hope this helps! Rafa
