Some time ago I switched to System V but didn't keep any notes. Now
there are no rc?.d files in /etc. The documentation I can find seems to
indicate that these files are still used but System V manages the soft
links to /etc/init.d.
My system still boots normally but now I need to change the installation
sequence. Any suggestion as to how to do this and/or what happened to
the rc?.d files?
