I'm dumping an old P-90 so I can give the machine to a friend. When I am in single mode can I safely umount /usr and /var then link their new locations after I copy them over to one of the hard drives. This machine is not net connected and I'm trying to squeeze all the files onto a single drive so I can go through them later to see what's there. In order to do that I have to move /usr and /var to clear some space.
