I have just installed Debian 2.0.2 and am trying to use the deselect program to install packages. I haven't found any good tutorials or info on how to use dselect so I decided to write and see if anyone could help me out. When I choose the method of installing during the first stage of dselect I choose my CD-ROM as the method but it then asks for the block device name? I typed CD-ROM, hdc1, and numerous other names but none work. What are they asking for her? I am a newbie so forgive my ignorance.
