What's the deal with the terminal setting "xterm-debian?" Why can't it just be "xterm," like with every other unix system? It would may so things a little easier if it was "xterm" since most programs (to my knowledge) have never heard of a "xterm-debian" setting and a few programs ask you to change the terminal type - like telnet for example.
