I have downloaded a dhcp v1.3 client from sunsite which was supposed to only work with kernel >=2.1. I have kernel 2.0.x and do not plan upgrade until I must or it is a standard part of the debian distribution. I have changed the source to make it work with kernel 2.0. Are any of you willing to test this out and email me to debug output so I am sure that it works systems other than my own? I use it with my ADSL connection and it seems to work fine.
