Funny you should mention it, I had GNOME crash on me too when I ran as root. It was a very similar situation, and I have a psaux mouse as well. This is what you get with an unstable distribution, I guess. Other than that, it's running quite nicely. I particular like the SlashApp. Is there any panel applet that you can configure to display the local weather? Or do I have to finish the GTK tutorial and write it myself to add to the GNOME repetoire? - Bill
