PCI serial card

I'm new to Linux and I just moved from Red Hat to Debian.
Before installing Debian I put in a SIIG PCI serial card
and removed my ISA serial card.  Unfortunately, Debian doesn't
seem to see the card.
Any tips?  Thanks,
