The source code for everything in Debian (as well as the diffs to debianize) are on just about every mirror, in a directory something like /debian/dists/slink/main/source You might want to look on the website for information about porting, maybe there's already others working on the project. Or, you could start the project, and probably find more people to help you put it together and test it.
