What's the easiest way to migrate from a Suse 4.2 dist to a recent debian? I want to keep some configuration files in /etc, everything in /usr/local and $HOME should be not touched. Suse 4.2 has no package system but a little mess with programs not belonging to packages isn't a problem for me.
