I personally have a Voodoo 3 2000 PCI running under slink using the RPMs from the URL in the 3dfx-HOWTO, and it's not given me a bit of bother. I'd definately recommend the card for both 3d and 2d video. I'm pretty sure the same RPMs will support the Banshee as well as any Voodoo cards.
