This one happens in my work PC, where the mouse is connected to /dev/ttyS0 and, even when the kernel seems to map it to /dev/ttyS00, the mouse works fine... believe it or not! ;-) > > What is 'perpendicular mode'? I'm sure this VERY old FDC unit wouldn't support it! As the floppy unit is working fine, I must presume that Linux is only trying to see if it supports perpendicular mode each time I change the disk in the FDC... No problem, then!
