The first step is to use xev, which will tell you what events are happening. If you post what it tells you keys are, someone (maybe me, more likely not :) probably knows what they mean. Launch xev (in the xcontrib package), point to it's window with the mouse, and hit the problematic keys. Post the output. rick --
