For some reason I lost a valid kernel image.
So, I mounted the disk in another machine,
modified the 2nd machine lilo.conf and booted the 1st
system. OK. But ...
... how should I reinstall lilo (in /dev/fd0 as this
was the old way I used) to boot from, say, /dev/hda2
even though the partition that will be /dev/hda2 is now
/dev/hdc2?
Is all the above "confused" enough?
