Is there a grep that is able to understand utf-16-[lb]e encoded files? I have a bunch of LaTeX source files intended for Lambda, so they're stored as utf-16-le. But when I try and grep the files, nothing happens because of all of the extra bytes in the file.
I've looked at the man page for grep and looked at that 'lv' package, but I couldn't make anything work. Any help appreciated.
