Hi guys, I know this isn't strictly debian related but i'm sure someone can help me quickly.
If i've got BIND 8.1.2 running (debian 2.0) i've noticed that all zone transfers to anywhere are blocked. With the "xfernets" command I know I can allow certain hosts to do zone tranfers, but all over the web wherever I look there are only examples for BIND 4.9 - which is obviously different to the 8 series. I'm setting up a secondary name server for a primary name server, and need to be able to get those hosts! Thanks! PS. Besides creating entries for all the domains i want to be secondary for in named.conf - and setting these to type "slave" and then restarting the name server (which will then do a zone transfer) there isn't much I need to do right?
