depending on the monitor, you may be able to get the specs from www.monitorworld.com they got specs on over 2000 monitors but i did not see that model# ..they got names instead (e.g. Dell graphics performance 16c)
or contact dell. or depending on your monitor(mine does - Princeton E0500) if u run the monitor out of spec, it'll show you the range of frequencies it supports. Or you can try to run XF86Setup, and play the guessing game until you find a configuration that you think is acceptable, and tweak it later. nate ----------------------------------------[mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] ]-- Linux System Administrator http://www.firetrail.com/ Firetrail Internet Services Limited http://www.aphroland.org/ Everett, WA 425-348-7336 http://www.linuxpowered.net/ Powered By: http://comedy.aphroland.org/ Debian 2.1 Linux 2.0.36 SMP http://yahoo.aphroland.org/ -----------------------------------------[mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] ]-- On Thu, 21 Oct 1999, jh wrote: > I am trying to set up x.
