check your ulimits (ulimit -a) i get that error because my ulimits are quite strict and when i exceed the limits it prevents me from doing so and pukes with that error. currently i have ulimit's for memory set at 24,000kB for virtual memory and 12,000kB for memory.
you also could be out of memory(doubtful depending on how much swap u got) fetchmail is a really small program :) nate ----------------------------------------[mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] ]-- Vice President Network Operations http://www.firetrail.com/ Firetrail Internet Services Limited http://www.aphroland.org/ Everett, WA 425-348-7336 http://www.linuxpowered.net/ Powered By: http://comedy.aphroland.org/ Debian 2.1 Linux 2.0.36 SMP http://yahoo.aphroland.org/ -----------------------------------------[mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] ]-- On Tue, 26 Oct 1999, Godric wrote: > Hi.
