OK, this one is maybe easy? Debian 2.2, latest release of X, running on a Micron millenia w/ a nVidia Riva 128 (8MB) graphics card using SF_XVGA and a ms intellimouse(ps/2):
I get a fatal error starting X: not able to connect to mouse. At first I realised that I had set it to point to /dev/ttyS0, changed it to /dev/psaux, but X still crashes right when it loads.
