I'm encountering a strange module error when i boot up. It states that it cant' find my Network card module (tulip.o) and therefore doesn't start my network stuff.
But right after the computer boots p, I log on as root in a consoel and type the following: insmod tulip /etc/init.d/network start And it loads the module and starts the network (I actually do it in a little script). My question is, why will it find the module with a insmod, but not on bootup? The tulip.o module is located in four places /usr/src/linux/drivers/net/tulip.o /usr/src/linux/modules/tulip.o /lib/modules/2.0.36/net/tulip.o /lib/modules/2.2.12/net/tulip.o Anyhelp?:) Thanks Jon ===== "God, Root.
