i was looking through the docs for the apache logging formats.. and was
wondering if anyone came accross a way to BLOCK certain hosts (or even
better, certain agents) from being logged? the thing is i had htdig
running, building a database for a site and the log grows by about 8MB per
day because of it(its a 250MB or so site with about 5000 files) i am
restricted enough on space as it is was hoping there was a way to prevent
htdig from showing up in the logs while allowing other hosts/agents to
show up, it also TOTALLY throws off the web stats giving a false
impression on how popular the site is, if htdig is hitting the site
5-10,000 times a day.

thanks for any info anyone can provide ..!

nate
