i was wondering why debian (maybe linux in general, or is it bash?) doesn't allow you to use ^A^D to logout ..it just says to use 'exit' to log out.. im sure i could override this but wanted to ask incase there is something security related to ^A^D ..i use it on my sgi indy and it works great..can logout of multiple terminals in a split second..
or maybe its my terminal locally ? im using gnome-terminal nate ----------------------------------------[mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] ]-- Vice President Network Operations http://www.firetrail.com/ Firetrail Internet Services Limited http://www.aphroland.org/ Everett, WA 425-348-7336 http://www.linuxpowered.net/ Powered By: http://comedy.aphroland.org/ Debian 2.1 Linux 2.0.36 SMP http://yahoo.aphroland.org/ -----------------------------------------[mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] ]-- 6:45pm up 160 days, 6:52, 1 user, load average: 1.12, 1.09, 1.03
