Right, but your best bet (IMHO) would probably be to stay off the list if you aren't very experienced. i.e. if you can't figure out how to get onto a listserv =). When I first joined I unsubscribed after a couple weeks because it was too much mail, I couldn't answer anybody's questions, and couldn't benefit from the answers they got from others because I didn't understand enough. So I asked questions for about the first six months that I used debian with the request that replies be "cc[ed] to me, as I'm not on the list". Most ppl do this already, but not all. Now that I'm more experienced I get more out of the questions other people ask and answer and can occasionally even answer a query or two. ===== Fish of Borg Visit me on the web! http://www.geocities.com/TimesSquare/Frontier/4874/stccg.html ///Archaeologists near mount Sinai have discovered what appears to be a missing page from the Bible. The page is currently being carbon dated in Bonn. If genuine it belongs at the beginning of the Bible and is believed to read "To my Darling Candy. All Characters portrayed within this book are fictitious and any resemblance to persons living or dead is entirely coincidental."///Red Dwarf __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
