Hello. I'm currently running woody, and I have an old SoudBlaster16 (one of those that came with an IDE interface for CD-rom), and it works fine when I use kernel 2.3.47. Now, when I was configuring the 2.3.99-pre3 kernel, I noticed that there's something different: I can't configure the SoundBlaster parameters anymore. All I can do is to enable or disable support from it.
But it's not working... During boot, I get this: Soundblaster audio driver Copyright (C) by Hannu Savolainen 1993-1996 sb_card: No ISAPnP cards found, trying standard ones... sb_card: I/O, IRQ, and DMA are mandatory It seems that the problem is exactly with those parameters that I couldn't configure... I've read the kernel Changes file, but it says nothing about this. Does anyone know what I can do to get the sound card working with this kernel?
