Hello! As some of my modules still won't load on demand, yesterday evening (CET) I visited the IRC channel #debianhelp. There, someone told me that not all modules are supposed to load on demand. Sure enough, the drivers for my SCSI card, NIC, SB AWE32 won't load on demand, but work fine with modprobe. How can I tell which modules are supposed to auto-load and which are not? Also, where is it documented how module names and devices correspond to each-other?
