I do not know if there are any debianised clones of yahoo messenger but there are a lot of clones you can choose from like gtkyahoo,kyahoo,chimmy's yahoo client etc, take your pick. go to www.freshmeat.net and search yahoo. unfortunately, you will most likely install it from source ;)
