        Helix Gnome is more or less a specially canned version of
        Gnome, with some cute applets and things that end users like
        (like loads and loads of themes).

        If you run just a vanilla X with a window manager, you might
        want to try it. But if you already use GNOME (or KDE for that
        matter), then I don't think that it's worth the trouble.

        In other words, keep what you've got.
