> I'm a regular user and I think it would be really cool if the autologin > would/could be implemented as specific to a run-level. this is not hard to do. you can specify the config file to use with the -config switch. so you could specify a config file with auto-login options and alternatively a "normal" one without auto-login depending on the runlevel. putting runlevel support into xdm itself is a bad idea, as it would rely on the sysV init style.
