Thanks to all those who replied to my e-mail. I had libc5 installed but I couldn't find, in the WordPerfect documentation, what other libraries might be required.
Judith gave me the clue! I did have xlib6 but not the libc5 version of xpm. Installing that has solved the problem. Thanks Judith. Barry Samuels
