/lib/modules/2.4.??/kernel/drivers/scsi/ide-scsi.o
If the module really isn't found, try installing the kernel-image appropriate for your system, it's a good idea anyway. You'll get some CPU opt's at the same time.

Hi
I tried to enable ide-scsi emulation but it doesnt work..there is no such module found. I installed woody basically with defaults...so I'm kind of lost as to what to do.

helping hand getting hy hdc cd-rom burner working with ide-scsi emulation
You just have to use the kernel parameter "hdc=scsi" (add it to your append line in lilo.conf) and load the ide-scsi module. If you're running a custom kernel make sure you have SCSI generic support enabled either built-in or as a module. -- Got Backup? My GnuPG key id is 4DCAF083 Protect your right to privacy
