How can I burn the CD, after downloading the image? Just copy the file to
the CD (.iso extension?) ? Is there a special software to do so? I'm using
Windows.

Stormix is an easy way to get Debian potato up and running on
your computer
with a graphical installer. The Debian/Stormix distribution also includes
the newest Helix-gnome and 2.2.16 kernel.
You also get a very useful graphical front-end to apt-get and
dselect,
called Strom Package Manager. With its filter option and the sources list
you can easily find any of the more than 4000 Debian packages available on
the net.
Just go to Stormix.com and d/l the latest version .I am glad i
did.
