Or disable/remove the symlinks in /etc/rc[0-6].d/. Then you can still start manually with `/etc/init.d/xdm` should you be so inclined. > > 2. There is a tulip driver in /lib/modules/2.2.x/net that you can install via `insmod tulip.o` in the standard distribution. No need for you to compile it yourself. > > 3.
