....although not new to linux. A little bit of skewed logic in places - I install C dev system & kernel sources, but the .debs do not include libcurses5 as a "recommended" to "make menuconfig". Huh? I'd have thought many kernel hand-rollers would do menuconfig & so this would be a popular reccomendation.
