Yes, there was. I know there is alt-o, but I think up to 3.x (or maybe 2.x), there was an Open button. I never understood why there was one on the Windows version, but is was very useful in unix. Double-click to copy the URL, hit the Open button, Clear, middle-click, Open. That's it. Very quick. It's actually like in NT that I use at work. The newest versions of IE have a "Go" button next to the Address bar. I thought it stupid at first, but I love it now. I have NT set up much like X. My SecureCRT copies when text is selected, middle button pastes, Caps Lock remapped to Control, etc. :) So I can basically do the whole URL thing never touching the keyboard. Then again they also added an Open URL option to the right-click menu of SecureCRT, so it's even easier. -Ken -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] AIM: ScopusFest
