Did you got the actual kernel to boot or not?DO you get any erro message at all or it just halts there ? BTW,on some computers you have to boot in " Safemode command prompt only " meaning without loading himem.sys or emm386 Another question,what happens if you actually make bootfloppies ,at least the rescue and the root one.Does the kernel boot from the floppy and finds & decompress the root image ? To create the boot floppy you need to download rawrite.
