You have to have a spare partition and to be able to copy other partitions into it, reformat the original partition and then copy things back. This may mean that certain partitions can not be changed: if it's too big to be moved: you could try using tar and gzip or bzip2. Unless you have a spare partition then you may find yourself a bit stumped ;-) Matthew
