I just started using debian (I've been using Redhat for years), and I'm having trouble with my X-Window system. I installed the 4.0.2 packages from woody, but noticed that xserver-svga is still 3.3.6 and xserver-common is installed as both 4.0.2 and 3.3.6. When I run startx with the 3.3.6 XF86Config in place, the server works fine, but when I try it with the 4.0.2 config file in place I get error messages about the file's format. How can I get it to run X v4.0.2?
