Is is locking out the <CTRL>+<ALT>+<Fkey> console switching as well? If so, try booting with your mouse unplugged. I had this same problem and this allowed me to get to a console prompt after booting to gdm using CTRL+ALT+F1. ---------------------------------------- Corwin J.
