OK lately I've been getting this error message and images not appearing in some programmes. libpng warning: Application was compiled with png.h from libpng-1.2.1 libpng warning: Application is running with png.c from libpng-1.0.12 I know this is because I've got: libpng-dev 1.2.1-1.1.woody.3, libpng2 1.0.12-3.woody.3 but I do have libpng3 1.2.1-1.1.woody.3 as well. I would love to just remove libpng2 but an apt-get remove libpng2 would also remove 320 other packages depending to it. Hmm. I could just remove libpng3 plus libpng-dev and install libpng2-dev but that would remove another 302 packages that depend on libpng3. Any ideas for a quick fix anyone?
